help on english words

hi,

although my english isn't good enought, now i am in a position to help my colleague to learn spoken english.

i myselft is fond of english words that vocally expresses all kind of feeling. it is fun to learn and use them . such as

sheesh,
ouch,
errr,
oops
yuck,
argh..

i want to include more but my knowledge is limited . i would like to ask help in here.

How about: Whoops, oops, yikes, hmm, duh, doh, bleah, grrr?

thanks for the quick response.

what does grrr diff from errr ? how do you pronounce 'grrr' tho ?
what about bleah ? can't look it up in my dict :0

i feel that yikes is often used by girls,true ? i knew there must be some that is generally used by diff gender.

btw, i have counted 'gee' as one too.

Hmm, I guess some of those are used more in writing than in speaking. (I also play an on-line game, and it's harder to express yourself so we use a lot of those.) I bet some of this could be different in different places too.

Grrr is an angry sound (like an angry dog). Grrr, why did he do that?!

Errr is different. Errr, what did you say again?

My kids (two boys) say "Yikes" is unisex.
