Project Assignment on verb 'To have' can anyone help?

Hi everyone,

I am doing an assignment on different uses of the verb 'have' in regards to form,sound and meaning. Also in relation to the problems students might have with the pronunciation and why they might have these difficulties. Can anyone tell me a good place for resources, or even help themselves?

Hi Deana,
have you got a copy of Swan's Practical English Usage? He's got quite a lot of good information about have. Sections 238 to 243 are the ones that have the info on this. Also, A Communicative Grammar of English from Leech/Svartvick has a lot about this.
