Wanting to earn an MA-TESOL while in Korea

Post by Slarte » Wed Mar 01, 2006 2:22 pm

Title sorta says it all. I live in Korea, I will marry a korean, I have a few years teaching experiance (mostly elementary,) and I wish to earn an MA in TESOL while I live and work in Korea. If anyone would have any information as to how to obtain this goal, I'd sure appreciate some input. Any emails, websites, or contacts of any sort would be great. Thank you in advance.

Not what you want, but have you considered an MA (Education) (or MEd)Applied Linguistics. The open university have a range of courses leading towards the qualification. 3 courses equal a Masters, with one course TESOL Worldwide.

Each course takes 1 year, distance learning. If you are not familiar with the Open University its qualifications are Internatioanlly recognised and the OU is funded by UK government.

Have a look www.open.ac.uk
Not all courses are avalable worldwide, but some are.
