Retired Vocational/Industrial Education Teacher/Administrato

Retired Vocational/Industrial Education Teacher/Administrator.
Broad understanding of industrial technology (non computer) manufacturing technology, tools, etc.

Would be interested in teaching ESL to industrial/manufacturing personnel.

Is this a viable goal?

Point me in the right direction please or tell me I am barking up the wrong tree. My education background is more akin to engineering and not English. Put a wrench or hammer in my hand and we are in business. BS Industrial Education, MS, Industrial Technology Basically an ABD. Somewhat intellectual but, please don't tell. :?

It's possible. I have seen listings looking for your quals. Get some TEFL certification (find out which cert is right for you BEFORE paying). Check the job postings. I know companies in the middle east often look for this type of thing.

Good luck,

Corey
