Cloze the Gap

Post by duggy » Fri Aug 22, 2003 3:20 pm

I am fairly new to teaching ESL, and I was told that the book, "Cloze the Gap" was good. I have the book anf the teacher's manual on order, but it is going to take weeks.
First of all, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what THEY thought of the book, and if it is worth the wait. I am also wondering if anyone in the Vancouver Canada area has a second book on hand that I could buy?
I am, so far, enjoying teaching ESL, but the school I am with did not have a curriculum when I started, so that has kept me pretty busy. Thanks to Dave for having all this information at my fingertips.

Hi,

Sorry for the delayed response.

What is the class you are teaching? What level are the students? I don't know this book but maybe able to give you some recommendations if I have more information. Also, who is the publisher? Heinle is really good about getting books to you asap if you call 877-need-esl.

It is probably too late now but I hope that helps some. :D
