ESL tutoring fees

Post by tomballjerry » Wed Nov 08, 2006 9:56 pm

I'm currently trying to find out what a typical hourly rate would be for ESL tutoring (involving converation, writing, and grammatical assistance). Could someone offer some reasonable suggestions? By the way, I'm in Houston, TX.

We dicussed this awhile ago at http://www.eslcafe.com/forums/teacher/v ... highlight=
Perhaps fees have gone up a tad since this.
It still seems to be about $25 an hour at our university in Vancouver, Canada but students have caught on and book a tutor in groups of 5 or so.
