Private English teacher wanted in San Diego

Post by steve_lloyd » Wed Dec 06, 2006 4:36 pm

Looking for advanced level instruction for my
Brazilian wife. The free ESL classes here are mainly
for those just beginning. Any ideas? Thank you.

Hmm, I think I answered you somewhere--maybe you posted in the Student forum too. I still think contacting a college that has ESL classes is a good way to find a private teacher. San Diego Community College, San Diego State University, and probably other colleges in the area might have an ESL department. I know we occasionally get information about tutoring jobs from our department chair here in San Francisco.
