Thanks for the link! That was interesting.
I guess I'm not too surprised that someone decided to work on sensory integration (SI) with dyslexics, since SI is one of the big hot topics in both speech-language therapy and occupational therapy research these days. Plus, I was reading some other interesting findings recently that found a correlation between slower general response times and dyslexia. Perhaps the theory from the researchers in the article you found was that improved physical response times in balance tasks generalized to improved response times in the sound sequencing tasks required for reading? Definitely cool stuff, anyway. I hope they publish more results soon.
