I'm a substitute adult esl instructor in search of quality lesson plans to download. I need all levels: pre-literacy, beginning, intermediate, advanced. I'm willing to pay a subscription fee or some other fee for quality products and service. Can anybody recommend some sites? :)

Heads up English

Onestop English

BBC

I use these sites. Heads up is for more advanced students and is free; the BBC has a lot to offer and is also free; Onestop is from Macmillan publishers and has a fairly good level range but some things you have to pay for.

!Check the Onestop lessons before using; some that I've used have been full of mistakes!

"Pay" sites that may be worth checking out if you're desperate (which I currently am!). Some of them have limited free samples. In approximately increasing order of price:

www.handoutsonline.com
www.esl-library.com
www.esl-lounge.com
www.teachitworld.com

Some free samples are on the site, but otherwise it is by subscription for 79 cents (USD) per twelve-question exercise:

You can also download several free, five part conversation lessons for high intermediate and advanced English language students at my website called Compelling Conversations.
http://www.CompellingConversations.com

I rotate the topics every month so feel free to bookmark the site and frequently visit. All the conversation lessons are chapter excerpt from a conversation textbook called Compelling Conversations: Questions and Quotations on Timeless Topics .

Enjoy!
