keep learning.
i think the most important thing for adults to learn is Keep Learning. Maybe you say what you are learnig is no use for your job, buy i will say you will benefit from it someday. Maybe you say no matter how hard i study, i still can't remember all the vacabulary, the grammer and the sentence stucture, but i think you can make progress little by little, when you open the book again, you will feel quite familiar with what you have learnt and get better understanding of it. Adults are persons who have lots of other things to do , but remember the old saying. it is nerver to late to learn.

I agree.

I think, especially as a teacher, I've found that everything I learn helps me in the classroom. It doesn't take long before I find the knowledge building a bridge to a student.

Because we're English teachers, and we're teaching a language and not a traditional skill, what we teach is all-encompassing and I find myself a better teacher if I can either 1) genuinely learn from my student or 2) share his enthusiasm for the topic at hand.

The more you know, the better you teach! Plus, if you make your students teach you something, it's great practice for them and it saves you a lot of effort!
