How to look as if you aren't concerned

Post by woodcutter » Mon Apr 20, 2009 5:42 am

I know I should be thinking about weightier matters to do with CALL, but I noticed a colleague staring moodily, head-in-hands at the open door of his empty classroom this morning. It made me wonder if anyone has a good strategy for making the first latecoming student to an empty classroom feel comfortable? (I didn't think his would work!)
