I am currently based in Madrid and plan on doing a winter season, using teaching as my source of finance. My plan is the Pyrenees as it seems as the most logical, and I want to stay in Spain.People have also mention Andorra but I know even less about that. I want to start teaching there in October.
What i'm wondering though is whether anyone could recommend a good place where I can teach, and still be near slopes.
I will value any information you can share
Granada

Hi there!
Why not go down to Andalucia and try Granada. The only problem is the cold as the houses are deigned to keep out the heat and stay cool. Lovely place though and normally plenty or work if you are prepared to look aorund.

you're not the only person to mention granada, apparently it's meant to be brilliant. would you be able to recommend any academies or any to avoid?
Not sure

Couldn't tell you the names of the academies I'm afraid (I'm in Seville)but there are a few around there. Not very international though. Money is considerably less in Andalucia as well. Standard of living is good though. A free tapa with every drink! What more could you ask for?
I'd google it and check it out, but most teachers I know that come to Andalucia complain about the money and lack of resourses. They always seem to stay though!
