i'm a student who wants a pen pal

Post by zehroo » Sun Oct 10, 2004 6:55 pm

hey i'm a 17 year old senior from a suburban high school in eastern pennsylvania, and i'm looking for a pen pal (or a few), preferably from underpriveleged inner city schools. i decided to do this because i told a teacher i thought that the government should do more to help kids in ghettos and the city and i wanted to help them, and he said that the best way i could do this now was by getting a pen pal who i could talk to to kind of show that there's hope and they can improve their lives if they work hard. does anybody here think this is a good or bad idea? for some reason i'm a little hesitant about it, but i really do want to do it. so if anyone has a couple of students who they think could benefit from a pen pal like me, just give me names and addresses and i'll get to work writing..or they can write to me first so everyone knows i'm not some psycho stalker or something.
anyways, email me. thanks.
