Often korean students don't have the means to apply what they've learned in the classroom in a compelling and meaningful way outside of the class. On one hand, they are very much connected to the Internet and technology, but disconnected from classrooms and the world beyond their classroom.

United Classrooms at UClass.org is a social learning platform that connects classrooms around the world, enabling teachers and students to share assignments and projects, discuss academic topics and collaborate through a newsfeed. Korean students will have a way to reinforce what they're learning by communicating with their peers in the United States and other parts of the world. They will be prepared for the global world that they will graduate into. Moreover, teachers can use UClass to communicate with their students by posting homework on the message board and facilitating discussions. It's a free tool that the teacher signs the classroom up for.

South Korea, as a world leader in education, can have a major influence in bringing UClass and global collaboration to Asia. If you have any questions, reach out to me at [email protected].
