Looking for teachers with English-speaking classes.

Post by Chuck Bennett » Mon Feb 06, 2006 3:27 am

I teach 7th grade social studies in Gainesville, Georgia, USA. I am interested in finding a teacher in an Asian country that would be interested in having our classes work together in a literature circle/book club-type arrangement. I plan to create a "wiki" website that the students can go to for discussion.

A wiki is a type of webpage that any user may go to and edit. I think it is an excellent vehicle for such a project. The students can interact under the guidance of their teachers.

Here is a link to a wiki page my students and I are beginning to build right now for our normal curriculum.

www.gps7socialstudies.pbwiki.com

For the international reading project, the wiki would have a different layout.
