Teacher Trainee Placements School?

Post by Pedro » Fri May 20, 2005 10:55 am

A large independent teacher training organisation is looking for schools in the UK and Europe to provide a professional learning environment for teacher trainee interns.

Trainees are highly motivated and will have received 40 hours of intensive tuition prior to being placed. Internships need a minimum of 20 contact hours TP and be provided with a small negotiable stipend.

During internship placement internees will continue their training process through distance learning and be required to complete and submit a series of assignments. They will also need to be observed and complete peer observation.

As well as providing a supportive training environment for new teachers, placement organisations will receive, among other, the benefits of being associated with an international teacher training organisation including support with teacher recruitment.

Providing placements for trainees will also allow schools to offer free or greatly reduce costs of lessons to existing/prospective students.
