new... getting a visa..?

Post by shine » Thu Sep 22, 2005 3:16 pm

hi. i'm new to this whole scenario...

it might sound like a stupid question, but how do i get a visa for korea and how long does it typically take? i'm a US citizen in NYC. how much does it usually cost. are there different kinds of visas? one place i applied to asked if i had an F4...

also, i heard that jobs in korea sometimes pay for the visa... is that typical? can i ask for it when interviewing?

thanks...

If you go to the international forums, you will find all the info you need to move to Korea and lots of advice on living there. Here, it is for discussion of teaching. So you won´t find much direct info on countries.
happy travels
