i help run a language centre in a private training school in france (many professional courses).
it is always difficult to know exactly how to present the offers we send to local companies. The sales secretary puts it into commercial form, but we are responsible for the main content (objectives, needs , n° of hours, frequency of lessons etc).
france is very thorough when it comes to paperwork, so our offers need to be complete. we have a range of courses (intensives, 1-1, group classes, evening classes, and many more) and we need to find a way of saving time on writing up offers , yet the receiver still needs to feel he has a personalized offer.
at the moment our process is as follows : we meet the students, run an evaluation (written and oral) and a needs analysis and then write the offer based on the level the student requires to achieve and his/her particular needs. We caculate on the basis of about 120 hours of class time to move up a level.
basically, we have to find a way of linking all possible needs (professional or general)to each language level and then when we write up the offer, we would simply have to select the data from the list.
I don't want to come across as lazy, but i'd like to know if anyone has any advice or examples to help me with this??
