EFL in the US

Post by Geoff Lee » Fri Jul 15, 2005 3:33 pm

I recently began work at a small language school in Rochester, NY, USA. Management is looking to get involved in bringing students from foreign countries here for English immersion courses, and they've asked that I look into it. Not having any direct experience with this sort of thing, I am uncertain how to go about it. Are there agencies and agents that set up students in with language schools in other countries? Would anyone have any idea how I might go about contacting them?

Assuming your school offers help to foreign students in obtaining a study visa, hundreds of programs worldwide will be excited to form a partnership with you. Most of the time, you'll need to offer them a commission for recruiting students on your behalf. I think your best shot is to make contact with established chains in Asia.
