ESL class periods per week?

ESL class periods per week?

Dear all,

This is a great web site! I am very interested in ESL and in Inmersion programs for non english speakers in the US, where I believe this is a very important issue.

I hope that some of you can help me. How many ESL class periods do they receive (average) per week in the elementary and/ or middle level in the US schools? and what is the lenght of those classes?

Is there eny general policy or program, or is it a State/ District decision?
