I have just uploaded 2 e.books for Chinese speakers learning English. One is in simplified Chinese, the other is in traditional chinese. Both books contain recordings made by an English actress and lots of great photographs.
Simplified Chinese version
Traditional Chinese version
Hope you (and your students) enjoy them!

What is the intended reading/grade level for these books?

Probably A2 but it will depend on the students. All Chinese speaking students can read the story as there is a translation, though others with A2 English should be able to read. The best way to find out is to download the stories and try them out. It is free to download them.

Always look for reading material that suits your level. Don't plunge into 19th century literature from the start because it's linguistically difficult. If you're young and still working on your English, try children's literature and young adult literature. Read what you are interested in. If you love cars, try reading articles on websites about cars. If you love fashion, read fashion websites. If you love detective stories, read detective stories.
