Hello Everyone,

I am so happy I found this discussion board because I need some help! I have volunteered to teach an English class to a group of 3-5 year olds (from 1-5 kids depending on who is there for the lesson). They are Japanese and do not know any English. It will be once a week for 45 min. I have taught English in Japan but not with young children. I have experiece with kindergarteners but not teaching ESL. Where do I begin in developing a lesson (e.g What should be included in the lesson?)

It's the oldest trick in the book but it's effective.

There are also the lyrics and instructions for lots of early years appropriate songs and singing games on the lyrics page.

Great downloadable song packages are available that include a song mp3 with the lesson plan for the song, flashcards for the vocabulary, lyrics sheets with the instructions for the actions and worksheets. Instant lessons.
