Can you suggest a Past-time Narrative Lesson Plan or book?

Post by Charlie's Mom » Mon Dec 20, 2004 7:30 pm

I read of a teacher at Georgia State University doing a Past-time narrative unit to teach grammar that co-occurs (as researched by Biber). I'd like to experiment with this next semester. Has anyone tried this? What text did you use (my students are very low level Adult ESL students who have low literacy in their first language)? Any lesson plans? Past-time narrative could be any autobiography, biography or history.
