May I have one more question, please?
What is correct:
They offered us to drive us there.
They offered us to give us a lift.
They offered themselves to give us a lift/to drive us there.
I asked my students to translate a sentence and some of them wrote these sentences. For me, all of them are correct.
Thank you for your time and help.

For me, "They offered us...." takes a noun, like, "They offered us some advice." "They offered us free tickets." For the other one, I would say, "They offered to drive us there." "They offered to give us a lift." "They offered to drive us there themselves."
To me all three of the examples sound "wrong." (American English)
