Evolutionists don't really have too many convincing answers for how much that is complex appeared, it seems to me. Creationists certainly explore that avenue a lot. It probably isn't a productive road to go down with lingusitics, because there won't be any answers.

There have been a couple of posts over on Language Log recently about the FOXP2 gene in wombats or something. (Obviously, I haven't really read them very closely yet 8) :) ). Just a heads up, for those interested.
