I even ask "Is I ate dinner yesterday a finish?" What do you think?
Though I discuss with people on one-sentence basis, on their basis, I am still aware how I shall answer the use of a tense.

Do you think that you might answer a direct question directly? I've answered your questions in this thread, at least have the courtesy to answer mine.
Here is is again:

In fact the angrier I get about it, the more I feel sure that nobody in their sane judgement should have any more dealings with such an unscrupulous intellectual cheat.
I hope I don't sound hysterical about this but to wake up in the morning and find that the previous night's discussion has been "modified" by one of those involved goes beyond my understanding of what is reasonable behaviour . I'm having no more to do with this person.
You are justified in saying all of that. Xui could never really say "I see what you mean. Thanks." and really mean it. He does alter posts. He does try to prove grammar points through the decontextualised (single) sentence and at the same time criticise others fro doing so. He does cheat.

Then I am afraid we have no more to say. I always ignore those who insult personally.

JTT, the modification is allowed by the forum, OK? Then don't do it with the person. Why do you have to do this at all?
See the note below? If I modified the contents a bit, there is a note telling you. Can't you see that? This is allowed by the software and the forum everywhere. Why don't you go around and see more about the real world?

Metal56, if I have modified the context for five times, then what I have done will be recorded:
"Last edited by Xui on Thu Nov 04, 2004 5:09 pm; edited 5 time in total"
You call the modification a cheating? No wonder you can call all the grammars "pedagogical grammars", just because they go against your opinion. I thought you were a gentleman. You disappoint me.

To tell the truth, if I fail in my discussion, I will admit you are correct and I was wrong. I will also apologize, sometimes. But I will not insult personally.

Pedagogical grammars exist. Find out.
I thought you were a gentleman. You disappoint me.
I'll live with that fact.

Yes, every grammar that claims Since expresses an incompletion.
I have heard about it.

That's what pedagogical grammars are for, students of English like you. They are full of partial truths, which is fine when one is studying the language. Later, one needs a more comprehensive grammar.
It is a fact.

Every discussion will come to a time of judgment. I really want to know about this:
Is there anyone else insisting that Present Perfect, working with Since, denotes a completion?

Actually, the discussion is over now. I just want to keep a record, a final opinion about our discussion.

Just like tenses: pronouns are not Xui's strong suit.
