What does the exclamation "Bite ME!" mean?

I can almost guess some kind of pejorative meaning but don't know what exactly that meaning is or in what context to use it.

Thanks

I'm not sure you want to know exactly what it means, or even if it's possible to know, since its meaning is rather intentionally vague, and probably means a variety of similar things depending on context of use. However, without really knowing exactly, I suspect that you could possibly assume that it means something like: "Bite my ass." It is clearly pejorative, and considered a vulgarity. Despite the fact that educated and refined people sometimes do wish to hurl insults, or strike back when they have been insulted, it is unlikely that such a person will use this phrase. It would too clearly identify them with groups they wouldn't want to be associated with. The shortening, "Bite me!" perhaps suggests that if you could (bite me) then your face would be uncomfortably close to a generally unpleasant (for you in that position) part of my anatomy. I don't recommend its use.

This is similar to the American slang word sucks, as in "That sucks!" or "The U.S. Olympic basketball players suck!"

The origins are distinctly vulgar. But the slang term is now used in even the most unvulgar situations.
