I was browsing through some of the Intn'l/Job Discussion Forums recently (I was bored

), and discovered that some AL guys are pretty active over there. For example, take a look at SJ in action in the General Discussion:

So, my question is, where's the juice at? Where do you guys turn to first for your regular "fix"? And, if we all joined up and in over there, would it start blurring the distinctions between and respective character of the two "types" of forum?

Ah Fluffy, had I known about the alternate message board, I would have suggested you go there earlier! (Had I also known about it

.) It appears Stephen Jones is quite aware of it, so perhaps he can answer your question. As for me, I just missed my fix.

How come so few low-brows with a goofy logo show up on this forum? That's the real mystery.
Is the name "applied linguistics" so scary?
