She says, "adieu" after turn it up which means "goodbye" which ties in with sailing away. I don't know what it means here.

Sorry about the accent on the "i" in "Rob Dìckins" but the censor doesn't like the name.

Well, I can't say what it means, but the folks at the Enya Forum seem to see the humour in those lyrics:

I love the reprise of the Orinoco Flow "turn it up turn it up" theme at the end of the song. What a sense of humor Enya has to include that.

I do not see what's so funny about 'turn it up' and I do not think that such a serious 'new age' song is intended to include any joke.

I think it means turn up the intensity of the feeling of freedom in the song. Artists often use ambiguity to geneterate stronger emotion. So turn what up? Turn up whatever you want!
