Teacher Training Agency Test

Post by JuanTwoThree » Tue Aug 30, 2005 11:18 am

This, and the subsequent pages that it links to, are samples of the grammar part of the obligatory literacy and numeracy tests that British novice teachers are apparently failing up to ten times before passing:

(Part of the instructions are, shall we say, infelicitous:
"You will need to check that you have made the best overall set of choices for completing the passage" That "for completing" is ugly, isn't it? )

By the way, I suspect some of the orthographically challenged among us might be flummoxed by the spelling section!
