How to work with data?

Post by Metamorfose » Wed Sep 07, 2005 8:17 pm

It came to me as a surprise and, needless to say, disapointing to understand that grammar and grammatical knowledge is better acquired if approached personallyand systematically, that is instead of reading the grammatical point and some examples, the teacher should provide their pupils with data (according to their 'level') and then, help them build their knowledge on the given subject.

My question is, how could I do this? Isn't it too time consuming selecting good data for pupils (I'm teaching more than 35 hours a week)? How could I conduct the search in classroom? I really wanted to start a new approach,do you have any idea?
