Hi,

1.
In gelology, contitnests are defined in terms of the Earth's crustal sturucture and constituent, rather than surface areas.

Answer : constituent --> constituency
My opinion : How come????

Thanks.

Perhaps you mean:
In geology, continents are defined in terms of the Earth's crustal structure and constituent, rather than surface areas.

Answer: constituent --> constituency
A constituent is one thing that goes into making a mixture. The constituency of a mixture refers to the physical look and texture of a mixture - degree of lumpiness, smoothness, fluffiness, etc; or the things (pl) that go into making the mixture.

It would be nice if you could tell us where exactly you are getting these examples from.

And it would only be courteous if you copied them correctly, without obvious spelling mistakes.

I, for one, am not going to try and help with these toefl things any more because I'm no longer at all sure that we are getting the original questions anyway, spelling aside.
