It's influence and reach could be significant.
The reach and significance of most Hollywood movies is often short-lived. I think Harry Potter will have a more durable influence than the movie you mention.

Will save the world? It already happened — where were you? Chomsky and others (like Hayek, Friedman) provided theoretic framework in different fields against Communism/authoritarianism, and politicians (like Reagan, Thatcher, etc.) took the theories and acted on them. The Soviet Union is gone now and communism is on the wane.
