the role of the teacher in the multimedia language teaching

Post by LOTUSJNG » Thu Apr 26, 2007 1:51 am

Multimedia teaching is a very popular language teaching method in the universities nowadays. Constructivism is a very important theory in leading the multimedia teaching. It actually becomes the theoretical basis of multimedia teaching. However, constructivism itself has some shortcomings. For example, it overemphasizes the role of the students and somehow neglects the role of the teachers. Is there an effective way for the teacher to organize the class in multimedia language teaching? What’s the role of the English teacher?
