The Pirate Present Perfect described:

Ye CANNOT use th' Present Perfect wi' specific time expressions such as: last high tide', one voyage ago, last week, when I be a child, when I lived in Japan, at that moment, that tide, one tide, etc. We CAN use th' Present Perfect wi' unspecific expressions such as: ever, never, once, many times, several times, before, so far, already, yet, etc
