Conversation mid-term & final assesment (adults) ideas?

Hi everyone,

I have been nosing around on this website for some time now and decided to finally sign up. And now, I have a question straight away.

I am currently teaching a conversation (I) class in Alexandria, Egypt. I was just told to think of mid-term & final assesments, but I am a bit out of ideas... My brain is kind of dead after all the ideas I have come up with so far in this course. Does anyone have good ideas for these oral assesments. I have 20+ students per class, so one-on-one is never going to work, and as it is a conversation class, they have to talk! (And I need the time to listen to all of them...). So if there is anyone that has any (great) ideas, please... help me out!
