I am new born in this cafe. I am doing my M.Phil in Education. I want somebody to help me with the topic ' Competencies of a teacher teaching English in secondary schools'

Please be more specific. There are language competencies and teaching competencies, to name 2. What is your research looking at exactly?

Thanks for responding. I am sorry I was not specific. It is "Teaching Competencies of Teachers teaching English in Secondary Schools"

I think first and foremost what separates secondary schools in the aspect of teaching competencies, is a specific skill set of classroom management techniques.

I personally think that that in itself would be a great thing for research.
