job offer

Post by amaze34 » Thu Feb 22, 2007 1:39 pm

Hello, I'm new to the forum. I've been offered a job in Switzerland which looks really good but i have to send $750 as a deposit to ensure that I actually show up. Upon my arrival, I'd get the money back. It's a fairly new school, only 5 years old and doesn't have a website. I really don't know a lot about the school and would like to know more before I hand over the money. I asked to contact one or two of the teachers and the administrative assistant wasn't too happy about it. Does anyone know anything about Zurich International English School? I'd be grateful for any thoughts or ideas on the subject. Thanks.

I would be very wary about this school, and of any school which asks you to send them money. There should be no reason for a school to ask for money upfront.

The other alarm bell is that they won't put you in contact with current teachers. If the school has nothing to hide, they should have no problem doing this.

This could be the same school posted about here:
