toeic study materials or strategies?

Post by scot » Wed Jun 25, 2003 6:38 am

hi, i have one advanced student i'm tutoring in japan. he's mainly studying to ace the toeic. his listening is hovering around 400, and written 420. any material ideas for listening in particular? something for self study with tapes and such. in the written he tends to want to go overboard with political articles and it's not helping much. ideas? thanks for any help, scott

I found this while doing a search on TOEIC and seems there aren't a whole lot of posts on the subject.

I'll be teaching the TOEIC in a business setting. Has anyone taught listening or reading and have advice they would like to share, or any activities that have worked well for them? I'd really appreciate it.
