Too Many A's in my university class

Post by kayakorea » Tue Dec 13, 2005 7:47 am

Does anyone have any tips on how to manage grading when your school allows a maximum number of As,Bs, etc. I made my course too easy and now I need to find a simple and fair way to curve the grades downward.

Thanks. PM if you have a good answer.

Geez. Do the students know the university does this? I suppose you can give a real tough final with a paper attached and grade it tough. Then you can get all the students upset. *shrug*

I got some good ideas form my colleagues, thanks. If anyone has the same problem, PM me and I can share them with you.

And yes, the students know. I think most universities in Korea have a similar policy (30% A's, 30% B's, etc..) ....
