Is it difficult to get jobs in Korea?

Hi there,
I have been looking at many postings to teach in Korea and most of them require you to have a University degree, Native speaker of English and some wants to see TESL certification. Seeing so many postings, I thought it shouldn't be too difficult getting a job. I do have a University degree and speak fluent english, however, I am not getting any reply from the emails that I've sent?? I've started the application about a week ago.....am I just too impatient? I know they don't contact you at all unless you are suitable for the position. But even some agents, who are suppose to help you match up your qualifications to jobs they have.....I am not getting any replies either? Am I missing something?
