Spanish as a Second Language and Preschoolers

Post by Stephanie@casadeibambini » Thu Aug 17, 2006 5:20 am

Anyone got hard and fast tips, a.k.a., typical expectations for the first months of Spanish emersion with preschool-age children?
Help! We are a new preschool in Asheville, NC (we opened Sept. '05). We are doing a blend of Montessori, Reggio Emilia and a bit of Waldorf/Steiner approaches...introduced Spanish all during our first year and in Sept. this year will launch our emersion program. Need to be turned onto but having trouble finding good resources for Spanish as a Second language-specifically with toddlers and preschoolers.
Gracias!

the website www.spongelearners.com has great materials for a child of any age learning Spanish. It has book reviews and also books for sale.

Highly educational and recommended
