Will Kids learn from this Animation?

Post by supakoal » Sat Dec 06, 2008 8:10 am

Hi all
I am a student and a Korean & English teacher. I am working on trilingual educational animation. I want to share my work with you all and hear teachers' thoughts about how kids will react to it. I'd appreciate any opinion.

The animation is named "The Three Little Beans", a trilingual interstitial in a form of 3D animation that teaches pre-schoolers the basics of English, Korean and Spanish simultaneously.

I only have very basic story line(apology for this rough version) ----->http://vimeo.com/2315801
and modelled characters in 3D program. This is how it look like ----->http://vimeo.com/2443888

I'm curious to know

1. Will kids like these simple characters?
2. For preschoolers, how difficult should I have to make it? Include greetings, numbers, and what else?
3. Will it be too challenging to learn 3 languages at the same time?
4. Seeing 3 languages at the same time will be less effective than teaching 1 language?

I want to make something that is fun and educational for preschoolers.. Hmm... It's not easy... I'll keep trying something new.

Thank you & Have a wonderful day!
