lose one's temper

KIRERU
Literally 'cut off'. I think it comes from 'the self-
control is cut off', thus 'lose temper'.
'Lose one's temper' is a traditional normal expression
I think. Is there any more colloquial expression for that?
Thank you.

Lose your rag
Throw a wobbly

And maybe less well known: Have a sh*t fit
