GOOD Employers in Paris - are there any?...

Post by Boggledorf » Wed Oct 03, 2007 10:07 am

Hi All - Having just finished my TEFL qualification, I'm now looking at finding an employer in Paris - ideally to start in Apr/May next year. I've looked on various forums & websites where I've seen a few bad reviews of employers in Paris, but I'm yet to find one actually being praised! Can anyone recommend a Parisian EFL employer?...

You might want to try posting your question in Dave's Job Forum instead of this one.

Check out the universities

While I have never had the chance to live and work in Paris for a long period of time, I did teach a writing class in Paris last summer sponsored by my home university in the United States. During that delightful month, I met several ESL/EFL teachers who worked at universities. There also seemed to be numerous ads for business teachers and TOEIC tutors. Of course, many were part-time, but two part-time positions can equal a solid income.

My suggestion: focus on universities!
