'WWW' for World Wide Web
Do you read it W-W-W one by one
or 'triple W'?
Thank you.

One-by-one, always

Spoken fast, it often comes out 'dubyadubydubya' or 'dubyoudubyoudubyou'

Interestingly, this is one of the rare situations where the abbreviation take longer to say than the words. Think about it: World Wide Web are all words of one syllable, so all three words equal three syllables. But usually we say W as three syllables, making 9 in total.

Agree with Strider. Have never heard anyone get all breathless over this one. Efficiency rules (out) many linguistic choices ("choices").
