I am looking for a test to effectively test speaking, listening and other things. Is there a test that tests students' ability to understand various accents, like British, Indian, etc?

Also, is there a better placement than the Oxford Placement Test for placing people in courses? Maybe a photocopiable one?

The BULATS test is what we use and it's effective. But it's not free of course.

As for the accents, I haven't heard of such a test, and I'm not even sure such a test would be fair, to be honest.
