autumn period

Post by Itasan » Sat Sep 17, 2005 7:03 am

What is the autumn (fall) period?
August through November, all inclusive?
What about Winter, Spring and Summer?
Thank you.

Hello Itasan,
I think different people see these periods slightly differently. However, you could divide them up using the vernal and autumnal equinoxes (21st of March and September, respectively), and the summer and winter solstices (21st of June and December, respectively). These are northern hemisphere, of course - swap them around for southern hemisphere!

Thank you very much, Macavity.
We are heading for autumn. It will start
very soon, but the weather doesn't seem
so at this time. Really hot in the day time here.
Better at night and morning, though.
