I will soon begin teaching short-term classes to air traffic controllers; specific focus is on radio telephony, identifying airport ground equipment, runway information, atmospheric phenomena, etc. If you could direct me to any of these or similar materials, I'd be very grateful.

I read on the Dogme discussion list about an activity for air traffic controllers that involved designing an airport. Apparently the activity was a big success. I'm not going to find the post for you but the archives are here: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dogme/

Try a search for air traffic controllers. let us know how the class goes; it sounds exciting!

deanbush, coincidentally I saw a set of either CD-ROMS or videos on e-bay for teaching aviation English (I think it was actually for air traffic controllers!). Search on e-bay under 'EFL'.
