Which is correct?
1. Which is taller, Jane or Mary?
2. Who is taller, Jane or Mary?

I would use "who" for people and "which" for non-human things.

I don't know why, but most of us here in Japan
were taught that 'which' is used when comparing,
"Which is taller,....". Do you think it was so
a long long long time ago?
